The Zugspitze Plateau

	The Tyrolean Zugspitze Railway brings you speedily and without waiting to the peak of the Zugspitze, from where you can travel down to the Zugspitze plateau with the glacier railway. Due to its altitude (2,000 m to 2,720 m) the skiing region is particularly sure of snow. Dusty powdered snow on untouched slopes makes the hearts of deep snow fans beat faster.
A chair lift and 8 towropes await you on the plateau. 17 km well-groomed easy and intermediate slopes wait to be conquered.
	Snowboard freaks, but also skiing freestylers, come to the fun park at their own risk.
All our winter sports enthusiasts have one thing in common: the Zugspitze plateau combines boundless enjoyment of snow with a superb panorama.
	Non-skiers, who would like to make a trip to the plateau, will achieve their aim with the “Short round trip” plateau ticket. With that, you travel with the Tyrolean Zugspitze Railway to the peak of the Zugspitze and from there continue with the Bavarian Glacier Railway to the plateau. The whole trip can naturally be repeated in reverse. Entry to the "Fascination Zugspitze", the experiential world at the peak, is naturally also included in this ticket.
